I had a serious case of deja vu yesterday. I had a flashback to the time in 1996 when I parked my car just off the coast road in South Australia and set off to walk over a substantial sand-dune to reach the beach on The Coorong. When I reached the top of the sand-dune, I was horrified to find a series of giant sand-dunes reared up between me and the beach. I had a similar experience yesterday when I looked at the webpage for Civil Procedure and Evidence. The second assessment task for this semester appeared before me. I have to read and analyse a transcript of interview comprising some 509 pages (!) before I start the written task itself. No sand-dune ever looked as formidable as that task rearing up before me.
