The one and only VP debate is over and I’m still sifting through my own thoughts as well as listening to the punditry.
I don’t think it would come as any surprise to anyone who knows me that I am not a fan of Sarah Palin. I would find her even more hysterically funny if it [...]
So it looks like I’ll be working both days this weekend but the work is different from what I normally do and I think it has a lot of potential to be quite interesting on a number of levels.
I’ll be acting as ‘production assistant’ for the filming of testimonials in preparation for a video we’re [...]
At first I was a bit lukewarm about it. But after three or four episodes it started to grown on me. I agree it’s no Arrested Development but I figure I’ll keep watching episodes here and there until it is due to go back to the library.
Twitter is good. I have been flat out at work - yesterday was a ridiculously long day. This leaves little time for anthing much else apart from work and sleeping. Of course I am coming down with another cold. This sucks as they are now announcing themselves with the pounding headache. I had flashes of [...]
I'm cleaning up the list of blogs I read and I'd like to add some new ones to fill the gaps.
Are there any brilliant personal blogs out there that you could recommend?
Let me know in the comments. Lovely, ta.
UPDATE: I should also point out that some of the blogs I read are not linked on the side over there because I am not sure if I am allowed to. If you think that you are one of those people and that you are all disgusted with me for not having you linked, it might be because I am CONFUSED about your privacy status. So don't be hatin' and just speak up. Also, I might just have missed you. Like I did with Kazza. Like, an accident. Because I am clumsy like that.
They are a fine looking pair of socks. I believe it is required when one is talking about gentleman’s socks to say something about well-turned calves. Which makes me think dizzy cattle.
I’ve completed another pair of socks for Mark. This pattern came from Nancy Bush’s Knitting Vintage Socks, which I’ve had for a couple of years but not knitted from before.
They turned pretty well, although the toes look a bit pointy for my liking. When not being worn the socks look absurdly long and narrow but Mark says they’re a good fit so that’s all that really matters.
