  I have plenty to do for my new classes next year and I might nibble at this tasks between now and the end of the year. But they will have to wait until a week or two into the new year for some serious work from me.

  Today I am at a little bit of a loss and that’s just fine. I few days of this should do me the world of good.

  The 2008 School Year is Over

  This year is over. I learned an incredible amount about teaching, students and some of the people around me. A small amount of all of this was bad. Most of it was heart-warming and terribly encouraging.

  I am quite looking forward to the 2009 year at the senior campus. All the same I am really looking forwards to five weeks at home to learn some new stuff and spend time with Nicky, Finn and Leila.

  Lesson for the day - it is nice to be in the light rather than just looking at it down the tunnel.
